Mark Regnerus is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Texas at Austin and author of Premarital Sex in America (Oxford University Press, 2010). Before that, he wrote Forbidden Fruit: Sex and Religion in the Lives of American Teenagers (Oxford, 2007), which tells the story of how religion shapes teen sexual decision-making. His op-ed on the benefits of early marriage appeared in the Washington Post on April 26, 2009. Author of over 30 published articles and book chapters, his research is in the areas of sexual behavior, family, and religious behavior. In addition to his appointment in sociology, Mark is also a faculty research associate of the university’s Population Research Center. He lives in Austin with his wife Deeann and their three children.

Jeff Myers, Ph.D. is the newly-appointed president of Colorado-based Summit Ministries, as well as the president of Passing the Baton International. For the last twenty years he’s been on the front lines of youth leadership development as a college professor, communicator, author and curriculum developer.
Jeff is the author of seven books including Handoff and five video coaching systems including Understanding the Times, the curriculum that introduced biblical worldview training to Christian schools around the world. More than two million people have used Jeff’s training courses in worldview, leadership and communication.
Jeff has also been Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Bryan College, teaching undergraduate and graduate leadership courses. He is a member of the Summit Oxford International Board. Jeff and his family live in Colorado.
James Ward was born in southern Illinois, the son of a Presbyterian minister. He has fulfilled his Christian calling as a composer, performer, and recording artist whose innovative music has been a widespread influence throughout the church and entertainment community since 1970. James has served in ministry to his home church, New City Fellowship (PCA) in Chattanooga, Tennessee, since its beginning over 30 years ago, and currently works full-time as their music director. He holds a BA in music from Covenant College (1972) and a Masters in Music in jazz performance from the University of Tennessee (1996). Ward has toured the US, Canada and Europe as a recording artist and singer-songwriter. He has recorded 12 albums, written several hit songs, as well as numerous contemporary praise songs.
Dr. Bailey assumed Dallas Theological Seminary’s presidency after years of service as both a professor and the vice president for Academic Affairs as well as his role as pastor of a local church. He was a seminar instructor for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries for 20 years and is in demand for Bible conferences and other preaching engagements. His overseas ministries have included Venezuela, Argentina, and Hungary. He is also a regular tour leader in the lands of the Bible, including Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, and Rome.
Now serving at the First United Methodist Church here in Dayton, TN, Pastor Ken has pastored for 38 years in Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida. He attended Hiawassee College, and then graduated from Radford University and Asbury Theological Seminary. With a song in his heart, he loves God, his family, and the church. The great outdoors is his hobby.

Bonnie-Marie traveled and spoke with the Worldview Initiative during her first three years at Bryan, and now is also developing creative on-campus strategies to help shape the beliefs, values, and actions of the Bryan community. She is passionate about helping the global body of Christ to understand the intersection of faith and life.
